Earthly Virtues Calendula Salve is made in small batches from all natural ingredients and handmade consciously with love by me, Aspen in Elands NSW, Australia.

This is a gentle salve for soothing, healing and softening skin. Slightly oily at first, but soaks in therefore making it highly hydrating. This makes it great for rough skin like elbows and feet, as well as lips. Individual results may vary. Please use intuitively. 

Ingredients:

• Pure Beeswax from our bees
• Australian organic extra virgin cold-pressed olive oil infused with homegrown Calendula flowers 
• Vitamin E oil
• Benzoin tincture.

Precautions:

Test on a small patch of skin first if you have sensitive skin or when using on babies so that you are mindful of potential allergic reactions and discontinue use if irritation occurs. While calendula is generally considered to be safe for most people, some individuals may be sensitive to it. If you or your baby has a more serious wound, please seek professional healthcare advice.

Uses of Calendula salve

Calendula Salve is used to:

• soothe and heal minor cuts, scrapes, and irritations
• reduce inflammation and redness
• soften and hydrate dry skin
• promote the regeneration of skin cells

We personally use this salve to wipe baby bottoms when a bit red or rashy, applied to a soft cloth or tissue and then wiped ever so gently during nappy changes.
